North Korea ready to Denuclearize? After enduring a full year of the "Trump Treatment," Kim Jong Un appears to be cracking. A conciliatory Kim has now asked President Trump for a personal meeting, and Trump has obliged. CIA Director Mike Pompeo says America has "never before" been in such a potentially constructive position with North Korea. A stunned Erin Burnett of CNN says Trump could be "going down as a great president." Former Obama official Evelyn Farkas gives credit to the "bluster coming out of the White House" for bringing about the progress. That said, the MSM soon rallied to wet blanket the meeting, and CNN's absurd lightweight Jim Acosta took time to remind Trump this is "not the Apprentice" and is "deadly serious" business. Thanks Jim! We review the history of diplomatic failure on North Korea from Bill Clinton to George W. Bush to Barack Obama -- who all accomplished "nothing," according to Trump at his Pennsylvania Rally. The anodyne Colorado Senator Cory Gardner weighs in, without praise for the White House. Meanwhile, we continue our conversation on Tariffs, as a large Steel Plant reopens in Lorain, Ohio. We sample an interview with Leo Gerard, President of United Steelworkers, who thanks Trump, Ross, Navarro and Lighthizer for their good work. Gerard describes the many international "cheaters" on trade and his ongoing push for a "level playing field," while suggesting his Union members will soon be voting Republican. Will the wayward Cory Gardner attempt to sabotage the success? With Listener Calls & Music via R.E.M., Fleetwood Mac and Louane.
