Ep #9: There's only Juan Foyth!
In this week’s show host Mr. Jolly in Sydney, is once again joined by Spurs fan podders from the UK and Europe: the Harlow Globetrotter (a.k.a."H"), Lloyd Stiles from Vienna; Owen “The Caller” Culshaw from Northampton in the UK; stadium correspondent and ST holder Francis "Top Man" Parker from London; and Ira “the Kurdish-Norwegian Lion” Salah from Norway. In Part 1, we review another away win, as we continued our blue vein of away form, which sees us top of the league… the AWAY league anyway, thanks to the reactions of wonder-boy Juan Foyth. We also discuss our come-from-behind win over PSV which included massive games from Harry Winks, and the legend Harry Kane whose brace gave him 150 Tottenham goals. We started poorly but after Poch Burrata-d the troops and we came good second half and and kept our champs league hopes alive. Yaaaaaaaaaas! H. and Owen start Part 2 early with a bit of a stoush over Ben Davies ability as a full-back, or lack thereof according to one of them at the end of Part 1; then in Part 2 (from 26.50), we deep dive into Juan Foyth’s future; discuss whether Harry is as good when he plays with Moura or not; and play the half-full / half-empty game again with the current situation of the club. Then finally in Part 3 (from 54.33), for Faces in the Crowd, Mr. Jolly Interviews co-presenter / producer Paul Fellowes from the OzSpurs, and asks him about his incredible and touching near death experience when Spurs toured Australia in 2015. We also hear about how his lovely wife accidentally unplugged his life-support machine when trying to get the game on the telly for him and how his kids ran out with the team while he was in his hospital bed on life support. Tottenham Till I Die to the max…. but not yet, thankfully, as Paul lives on to tell his tale! Have a listen and ping us your reactions on FB or Twitter. COYS.
