Ep #15 Spurs in the Catalan, Gooners in Uzbekistan!
In this episode #15 our mad-as-a-hatter host with the most Mr. Jolly, in Sydney, is joined by 'the Harlow Globetrotter' Lloyd Stiles from Vienna; 'the Caller' Owen Culshaw from the Midlands (UK), and Father Nick Kersten, from Wisconsin in the USA. There's also stats from the 'Kurdish-Norwegian Lion' Ira Saleh, and the show opens with interviews with our travelling season ticket holder correspondents, ‘the indefatigable’ Simon Burrows and Franco 'the General' Parker (London) who were both among the 5000 strong travelling Spurs army at the Camp Nou.
In Part 1 we review that wonderful result at Barca, and discuss the magical performance of the team, and of Mauricio Pochettino, as well as another brilliant performance by Moussa Sissoko. We talk about Danny Rose’s return to his old self, discuss Kane, and a few of the others in detail too. Additionally we talk about what happened at Inter and celebrate PSV pulling that result from where the Son don’t shine for us. Yaaaaaaaaaaas!
In Part 2 (from 43.17) we discuss and debate three topics related to the Barca game, firstly asking who we’d like to meet in the round of 16; then debate whether Moussa Sissoko, aka Messisoko, is our most important MF right now. Finally we argue the toss over whether Poch was right to start KWP and discuss what else he might of done, as well as consider his future role at the club in light of news of his new 5 year contract.
Also, don’t forget to check out the special video preview for the Burnley PL game, where Mr. Jolly is joined via Zoom by H.G from Vienna and Vlad from his marketing manager den.
