Expat Files - 02.22.19
Descriptions- EXPAT FILES SHOW #833 FRI, FEB 22 (02-22-2019):
#1- Body shaming and “man talk” in Latin America
#2- Managing Bugs, Snakes and Cucarachas (the cyborgs of insects)
Man-sized bugs and snakes are on every new green expat’s mind - and especially on the minds of female expats. Yes, creatures are an undeniable reality but there are some very easy ways to keep them at bay. Hint: much of it depends on where you choose to live out your “Plan B”. If you live at sea level, on the coast or near water they will be much more a part of your life than if you live in the altiplano.
#3- Sustainability in Latin America when the SHTF:
No doubt when the SHTF in the first world the third world will be affected. But how much? Will you be safe? Should you worry?
#4- Latin American weather and the existence and persistence of “mini-climates”
#5- The present state of Social Justice Warrioring and the LGBT-WTF thing in Latin America:
In that respect I may be old fashioned but thank God, Buddha, Krishna and every other deity real or imagined for good old Latin American “Lag Time”
#6- Climate change and Latin America:
How much are we insulated from all that by living down here? Will we be ok or should we update our wills and testaments?
#7- Johnny’s new “Expat Essentials Course” is a blueprint for your “Plan B” and the best way kick-start your exit plan before getting boots on the ground in Latin America. Check out the free intro video to the course now at www.theexpatfiles.com/academy
