It's Not About You, But Shouldn't It Be?
Today is another one of those blogposts where I have decided to take my fears with me and say what I am thinking anyway. This blogpost challenges the popular verbiage that many of us love to say. It’s the verbiage, “it’s not about you (me).” Now I question whether this popularized saying subtly damaged my mental psyche about myself.
This verbiage “it’s not about me” sounds good and made a great song, I will agree, but I submit to your thinking that it hurts the internal growth of you.
I know what you maybe thinking! I have that same proud indignation feeling when I say this phrase too but hear my thoughts out first.
