Episode 3 - Chad Van Handel Shares Finance Insights - The Wing Podcast

For our third podcast we interviewed Chad Van Handel.  First off, We have to say...  He really knows his stuff.  We dug down into some great nuggets on personal finance, business finance, investing, and what you can do to start getting ahead.  Chad is the Chief Lending Officer at Unison Credit Union.

Intro:

Chad has fifteen years of experience as a business banker helping small & medium-sized businesses in Northeastern Wisconsin. He was born & raised in Little Chute and attended Carroll University for undergrad & obtained his MBA from Marquette University. Chad & his wife have two daughters.

When it comes to finances what one thing could help an Entrepreneur, Person, or Small Business?

Pay yourself first & make it automatic. If you zap the money out of your account before it has time to get too comfortable, you will likely find it easier to build a nest egg.

Anything you would like to add about the topic of Business or Personal Finances?

A person's goal should be to save 10% of their income into a savings vehicle (savings account, money market account, or short-term investment account). The earlier you can achieve the 10%, the longer the money will have to compound & grow into more money.
