Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution
Kids & Family:Parenting
Join Yvette Hampton and Eric Hovind, President and Founder of Creation Today, for a 2-part episode, as they discuss how to make science fun and applicable, why a Biblical worldview matters, the importance of pointing our children to Christ, sharing the Gospel, and the impact our secular education system is having on our children and culture.
Eric Hovind grew up immersed in the world of apologetics and following college graduation in 1999, began full-time ministry. President and Founder of Creation Today, Eric's passion to reach people with the life-changing message of the Gospel has driven him to speak in eight foreign countries and all fifty states, to produce 132 episodes of The Creation Today Show broadcasting on three continents, and to translate resources into 42 languages.

Desiring synergy for many creation organizations, Hovind began the Creation Network with four websites already launched including: SearchCreation.org, VisitCreation.org, CreationEvents.org, CreationSpeakers.org, and several more sites near integration.
Excited to have completed their most ambitious undertaking to date, their seven-year 3D film project, GENESIS: Paradise Lost played on over 1,200 screens nationwide November 2017 and is being translated into over 40 languages. Pioneering this work is just one of their many endeavors as Eric and the Creation Today team’s mission remains steadfast: impact the world to KNOW and DEFEND their Creator-GOD!
Eric lives in Pensacola, Florida with his wife Tanya and three children and they enjoy anything outdoors including building projects, riding motorcycles, hiking, and going to the beach. Hovind also remains undefeated in rubber band shooting contests.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES
1 Samuel 12:14-15
If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well. But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then the hand of the Lord will be against you and your king.
Ephesians 6:10-17
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
