Donald Trump and First Lady receive postal ballots despite criticism of method
President Donald Trump has requested a postal ballot for Florida’s primary election despite weeks of criticising the practice.
Ballots were sent on Wednesday to both the president and First lady Melania Trump at the Mar-a-Lago resort, which the president lists as his legal address, according to online Palm Beach County elections records.
Both previously voted by post for the presidential preference primary in March, according to records.
Mr Trump has previously claimed postal voting was unsafe and vulnerable to fraud, but changed his mind about the practice last week ahead of Florida’s election on Tuesday.
He said the system in Florida was ‘safe and secure’.
