Education
Pascale Louis-Jean's earliest memories are in Haiti, the country where she was born and where she stayed until she was 3 years old. Oral stories about mermaids, Christmas Haitian traditions, and a distinct nickname are always with her along the way, including her mother languages (English, French and Haitian Creole) and the beloved storytellers and books in her childhood that continue to inspire her.
