She also serves on the board of Preemptive Love, a nonprofit committed to building peace between communities at odds, Syrian Community Network, a refugee & immigration support nonprofit, and the IL Muslim Civic Coalition, an organization promoting civic justice and working towards a more equitable and representative America.
