Cheers is still smart and funny. The best years, the ones i keep rewatching are the Diane years, seasons 1-5. Shelly Long is an underrated talent. She gave Diane pathos and I pitied her. For such a stuffy windbag, all she wanted was acceptance. Kirstie Alley is fantastic but she loses her way by the 9th season. Still good stuff.
