If you forgive someone do you definitionally let them off the hook. If you do not bring them to justice, how is that something that frees the mind of suffering? To me compounds and injustice, and leaves One suffering and without recourse except to accept it under the guise of “forgiveness” – – what kind of choice is that? How was that possibly in my interest?
