Awesome interview with Lacy Hunt. Great series. It is a great idea to have some of these brilliant minds speak up their thoughts on what the current government and central banks are doing to the public's/ generations' future.

I always need to listen to Lacy Hunt several times so much substance. This one is honestly one of the best ever I listen to. I have one question and one note. Question: what article were you referring from Bloomberg at the end? Note: Production function will be revolutionary in my view. If we want to stay alive we need to change how we source energy to control emissions. We have no choice.

Great interview. Couple questions for next time: Why is Fed spending money inflationary, but Fed lending to government at zero percent for government to spend not inflationary? Seems like the same thing to me. If high inflation requires rewriting of Fed charter, how do you explain the high inflation of the 70’s? How do you explain the 1000% (10X) cumulative inflation of the last 50 years?

Except there has been material inflation. It’s just that the official stats don’t capture it. It’s been a great run though for those selling bonds as those rates went down and down. Was that great for the Savers? Less interest means less disposable income which to them is a form of inflation.
