I truly enjoy this podcast. The teachings are spot on. When I got saved , back in 1980, I had no man to guide me into the things that I came to believe now. It was the Holy Spirit that showed me that the King James Bible is God’s perfect words, before I knew anything about IFB or BBB (Bible Believing Baptists). It was through a tract (This Was Your Life) back when I was in elementary school about salvation being personal to me. I grew up Lutheran and we recited the Apostles and Nicean creeds, which have all of the fundamentals, but that tract showed me if my name was not written in the Book of Life, I would be cast into the lake of fire, which was not preached in church. I almost fell for the modern versions, but the Lord kept me from that through Chick Publications as well when I was in college at a Christian bookstore looking for a new Bible. My faith in the KJB as the perfect inspired words of God came through a guy in the IFB church I was attending at the time, handed me two books. One was Problem Texts and The Unknown Bible by Peter Ruckman. He challenged me to take and read them, he gave them to me. I was wowed by what I learned and I’ve been hooked ever since. I was able to see the conspiracy against the KJB even among IFB! But I also learned to have balance and still love the brethren, but not compromise my belief in the Book.
