Just listened to this podcast. I really enjoyed it as lots of useful info and explanation of how your body changes in menopause. I am 51 but haven’t had too many symptoms yet but using this info in preparation for when it happens! This has inspired me to change my diet, thank you Kim xx

I’m in perimenopause even though my doctor tells me my bloods don’t reflect this but I have so many of the symptoms. Feeling very down with it as I have gained weight and find it hard to shift. This podcast is full of useful information and has given me direction and motivation. I’m embarking on your protocol and will keep you posted as to how it goes ⭐️

WOW! JUST WHEN I THOUGHT KIM COULDN’T GET ANY BETTER SHE BLOWS MY MIND AGAIN N GIVES SO MUCH GREAT INFORMATION!THIS PODCAST WAS HONESTLY ONE OF MY TOP TWO FAVES I HAVE EVER LISTENED TO OF HERS! I NOW UNDERSTAND WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT WHY I GAIN WEIGHT WHEN I DRINK ALCOHOL. AS KIM SHARED, THE LIVER GETS TIRED OF PROCESSING AND FILTERING THE SAME THINGS AND EVENTUALLY THROWS THOSE TOXINS INTO FAT STORES. BIGGEST TAKEAWAY EVER! IT NOW MAKES SENSE AND CHANGING THAT BAD HABIT FOREVER! LOVE HER!

Absolutely loved this podcast, the content is so informative and explained so well. I am not in menopause yet but I know it will happen to me at some point in few years and it’s great to be informed and prepared and know what I need to do and what I need to avoid. As usual great content from Kim

I would leave a comment on iTunes if I could figure out how to do it. I don’t see an option to comment. This was a great episode. This episode tied together all your previous podcast that I listen to about white carbs and menopause and how important it is now to make sure you only eat white sugary or starchy carbs immediately before or after training. By the way, I too am the youngest of three and my eldest sister is named Carol. :)

I loved this podcast as I’m turning 50 in March & I’ve been going through menopause for 9 yrs & the last 2 I’ve put on 45lbs & couldn’t understand why. I never had to worry about my weight before. In my 30’s I was only 8% body fat. These days I feel like I’m 80% body fat. But like i said...after listening to this podcast there will be changes made today. I absolutely have to get this weight off as I’m heavier now than when I was 9mths pregnant. No good & diabetes runs in my family. Change today

explained so much to me. I couldn’t understand why all of a sudden I started packing the pounds of exactly where she said..my thighs, butt & then stomach. I’ll be changing my ways today

This podcast has been amazing. Thank you. The past 8 weeks has been rough as my body has changed so quickly. I’ve always been fit and fairly lean - NO not anymore 🤷‍♀️ now I feel I have some tools to work with to start clawing my way back to being me. I’m 51 and don’t want to turn into my mother 😂( as much as I love her)

Mind blown. So glad I stopped burying my head in the sand and telling myself I’m way off the menapause, at 42 I’m closer than I like to admit! Really interesting and informative listen. This should be talked about more and the stigma around it busted. Thank you Kim for the essential education 🤍🤍

Eye opening. In 2019 at 33 I had a hysterectomy as a result of complications from having my girls. I kept my ovaries thinking it would hold off menopause. Now, Jan 2022 I suspected I was beginning menopause however after listening to this, I suspect I began menopause some time ago. The weight gain on my thighs and butt started late 2020 and by the end of 2021, weight gain moved to my stomach. I used to be a firefighter

*hit send to fast!* I am hopefully still far enough away from the menopause but it is a great podcast. Listening to it during my morning walk today I heard some valuable things I will be able to implement. Learned new things! I’d like to hear a podcast about drinking alcohol - in a balanced diet. And the effects it has on your mental and physical health.

Great explanation on why white starches cause so many problems and why broccoli and pulses can make such a difference

Thank you so much Kim, I was a Pt for 19 years training all ages but it wasn’t till around last year the weight started to sneak up on me I thought menopause + career change + stress and alcohol as I had started drinking to de-stress ( didn’t work funny enough). My trainer suggested your meal plan as I was a vegetarian and I and glad he did, I had already started to make changes like getting a trainer, quit alcohol and sugar most days but your podcast added clarity and reminded me how our bodies work thank you again for your dedication and knowledge. I look forward to hearing more.
