It's not that I can't have a rational discussion. I prefer not to discuss politics. I listen to you and Scott for the escape to Montana. I do not listen for political talk. I just want hunting, fishing and libations under the Big Sky!
Both. I think what's ironic is that you decided to not listen to the podcast but still fired off a comment. It's pretty much what I was talking about in the first hour about how people lack the ability to have rational discussions on this kind of stuff. Yep, the FBI dropped the ball on this one. But how many times have they prevented these types of things? What are their success rates and how consistent is that with human error in general? There are many areas we have opportunities to be better at to prevent these things. If you listened to the podcast, I do address those things. That doesn't change how dangerous these guns are and how unecessary they are.
Decided not to listen to this episode in full. As such; I cannot confirm if you addressed the failure of the federal and local authorities regarding the Parkland event. Both the FBI and local law enforcement were notified months in advance regarding the shooter. They say on the information. Ignored the information...gun control failure or investigation response failure?
