Zain is absolutely fantastic. Recall meeting him at SOAS although we didn’t talk much. I found this podcast refreshing to the ear, and audacious in take the courage to openly discuss such controversial topics without any bias/prejudice but presenting a report and description of a specific experience.

I enjoyed this dialogue and made me reflect on my own perceptions pre and during studying Hebrew as well as those of friends, colleagues etc who act very surprised to hear I’m learning it - it’s like people expect me to either be Jewish or have a very solid reason, otherwise they *assume* I have a very strong political stance and what that is without even asking me directly ... it’s pretty incredible.
