James, you asked if the pressure was comforting or soothing (I can’t remember your exact verbiage 😇). Where the pressure is “soothing”: I finally KNOW what my priority is. I read an article that mentioned ADHD being in a cyclone of post-it notes never able to organize them or knowing which comes first. For me, I’m always waiting to find out I’m focused on the wrong thing which always brings panic, etc. It’s hard feeling secure when you can’t trust yourself. The pressure is almost a good spot because I know, without a doubt, my objective. But it’s an almost because there’s always, “I should have started this sooner. Why do I always do this? Is this the time I’m going to fail? Etc.”
