...I just can’t thank you enough. I’m listening again and asking my husband to listen. ❤️

@Detour Podcast : I am struggling to express my reaction to this episode. Sometimes I listen to episodes on 9s & I “Yes! Yes! That’s me. This person gets me.” In this episode, I am in tears because Chris explained being me SO well that hearing it HEALED a part of me. In 27 years, I have not been able to articulate to my 8 husband what it’s like to be me and the struggle that it can be sometimes. The examples, from the foggy mirror...to the feeling of being chained when forced to make a decision in the spot...to listening but not agreeing... to the NEED to heal others while I’m desperate to heal myself...

like the hosts of this podcast I chew and married to a nine. I very much appreciate Chris's clear thoughtful self-aware articulation of what it's like to experience life as a 9. Not only does it give me insight into my spouse. But it elicits empathy understanding and compassion and patience all the more in my interaction and relationship with my spouse.

Really good stuff here. I would love to hear more about therapy and the Enneagram, particularly how it can help or hurt with mental healthcare.

Some good 'ah ha' moments here about my 9 husband. Thank you for this.
