Ep.117: Given that references in space are pretty much as references when diving into the big blue, how can astronomers tell OUR galaxy is moving towards a certain point in space. I mean, it could all be converting to the ”center of the universe”, a.k.a. ”us”. ;)

Hi Fraser! I just started listening to the whole podcast series, so this question may have already been answered: is logical to assume that one of the reasons the far side of the Moon is riddled with impact craters (as opposed to the side facing the Earth) is because there are no objects coming from THIS side?
