Ghost stories are fun. Preaching about the wonders of explaining what can be explained and stuffing those explanations into the rest of the universe, not so fun.
Enjoyed the episode. Not a fan of the obscenities though. Would be great if you could do your episodes without the swearing. Thanks
I like the storys but I really can not stand all the dreadful swearing!!! And yes, I do swear myself. I’m a Brit who has lived in Turkey since 2009 and drive a scooter - so swearing happens daily, as it is a very difficult country to live in as a single woman. I do not want to hear hours of ”f” ing this and that + the rest. So I am going to remove all the downloaded episodes from this podcast and unsubscribe.....
In the US the insurance goes with the car, not the driver.
The sweary sisters are back. This is a well researched bonus episode (as always) with one of them (who isn’t Anna) peppering the otherwise interesting story with her usual ”F” this, ”F” that, together with poking fun at people’s real surnames.
Really enjoyed the podcast on Couzens. The F word, though, and slightly off-putting!
”Him and Joanne had ”, when did this rampant illiteracy start?
Imagine thinking that a saw horse is a ”seesaw” (teeter totter in the US). Ladies, a saw horse is a wooden support to hold wood when sawing it.
Congratulations on your win!
Hea rats of oak
You guys good? Not the same banter!
How could you insult that poor policeman by comparing him to Chucky, that man is a piece of .
I doubt there was any sleeping involved.
I tried listening to another few podcasts from these sweary sisters but unfortunately I can’t get past the fact that one of them, (I’m not sure which one), seems to delight in swearing all the time. Whether it’s her upbringing or she might think she’s ”down with the kids”. It just isn’t intelligent, and takes away what could otherwise be a great listening experience. The potty mouth pair have had some great ideas for podcasts, but the swearing spoils it for me personally.
Utah law had nothing to do with Colorado City, it’s in Arizona.
My first time listening to this podcast after hearing them both as guests on Dan Schreiber’s ”We can be weirdos. Very interesting, but the one who did most of the narrating seems to think that using the ”F” word with monotonous regularity is cool or something. It isn’t.
Absolutely LOVE these bonus episodes
Great episode!
