Blah, blah, blah, the debt the debt the debt. What a load of garbage! I didn'thear them complaining when Trump and Republicans Passed a bullshit absurd useless 2 TRILLION DOLLAR TAX CUT FOR THE RICH!!! And before that the TWO ROUNDS of tax cuts for the rich by President Bush, Republicans and Neoliberal Centrist Democrats! Where were their concerns about the debt then???? The fact is the debt only matters if the money is being WASTED, which it is transferring money from the Working Class to the rich, or if inflation is showing signs of ticking up, which it isn't AT ALL! Every sign in the economy is SCREAMING for MORE deficit spending on USEFUL causes like infrastructure, a higher minimum wage, an expanded public housing development stock, an expanded earned-income tax credit, education, forgiving college loan debt and things like that. Not tax cuts for the rich. Demand is EXTREMELY LOW, meaning people don't have money to spend and are going into debt just to survive. Forgive some or all of that debt like college loans, medical bills and so on, would give them more money to spend and boost the economy. You can help that also by increasing minimum wage, labor and union protections, and overtime protections, all of which is the exact OPPOSITE from what Trump and his administration of the rich and corrupt Republicans are doing. So that's the REAL problem, not the debt you Corporate Neoliberal shills!!!
