And another thing - how many times when dealing with an unexpected death have you convinced yourself if different scenarios to explain what happened? Regardless of whether she was intentionally murdered or this was natural causes, a parent trying to wrap their minds around a tragedy like this I can see this being natural and him convincing himself that this was murder and believe it.
