Weird that they say scut and not scott
Aside from being fun (as always!), this episode was a really interesting listen from a cultural perspective. Being a Brit, I realised at many points during the discussion how easy it is for a lot of the innate *Britishness* of BJD to completely bypass a non-Brit. Things like Mark Darcy’s general demeanour, or even the naming of Perpetua, appears to hit completely different when you have been steeped in the nuances of British culture (particularly class culture) since birth.
Love love love the last dragon!!!!!!
'Seven Eleven Sushi' would be a good band name
Laura Dern was good in A Perfect World, too. It doesn't pass the Bechdel test because she's the only significant female character, but her character is smart, strong, and memorable.
Please review Red Sparrow! I feel it is a highly feminine spy thriller that is not a gender inverted James Bond
I want a shirt that says "feminism is the law now"
another great episode. I do feel that you're gaslighting me into fancying Alfred Molina. And I'm more than happy about it!
"The carpet is a genderless icon" 😂
I couldn’t click fast enough
