If you want to read some reasonable reviews for the last of us part 2 then read the 7/10 and 6/10 reviews on metacritic
Here's something. In the seven years between tlou1 and the Last Jedi Of Us, we had a game called Life Is Strange that showed you can make a game where your choices mattered. It's something Fable promised years ago and never delivered. To drag the player on a revenge mission, then reboot and go on another revenge mission just to not kill abby was a joke. Imagine Tony Stark in Endgame deciding "yeah, with this snap, I will allow Thanos to live." We should have been given choices, period
People need to stop saying "the game is beautiful and the gameplay is great." It's naughty dog. It's expected to look that way. But none of us play this series for the graphics. We play for the plot. The writing. The characters. The first game was way better, and way smarter. I went through the entire game. Playing as Joel's killer did not make me want to feel her struggle. It was a slog to get through.
Sorry as a massive fan of the first game I cannot believe the hype this is getting. I think it's a good game for half of the game but the second half just makes you want to delete the game and forget it ever existed. 5/10 from me.
