My partner is a mosquito magnet and swears by the natural/citronella mosquito bracelets. There are a number of brands -- the ones that look like colorful springs!

This is definitely a very fishy case. I believe Rebecca was unquestionably murdered. Money does buy ”justice ”.

You guys are really funny, but serious when you need to be. This was a nice chance.

Had no clue were weren’t a perfect couple. Had it not came out he cheated on me several times, everyone would have definitely been on his side. Some abusive men hide it WELL.

Ok, so I’m not saying what I believe in this, but the part where she says he started a rant on how she doesn’t respect him hit a chord with me. And others things she said. I was in a 16 year marriage with a man like that. He had a whole outside personality. At home, he drank, slept, and raged at how me and the kids don’t respect him blah blah. I mean I didn’t kill mine, but had he ever picked up a gun on one of his beer fueled hour long rants, I may have. When I left him, people were shocked and

Eh. Couldn’t get through this one. Too scattered and not very interesting.

The episode was great. The interview with Haley was painful to listen to. Great researcher, awkward small talker

This must be one of the “mysteries” that prompted the name change. *sigh* Hope it doesn’t slide into a bunch of these.

😂. You guys.

It seems the final mistake Marie and her mom made was running out of the house. Hindsight is always 20/20 but they should’ve ”posted up” and shot him as he entered the home. Sadly, it seems that’s one of the only ways a victim of a determined abuser can end it for good.

That was strange story. Woman used a man as a slave in her farm and then to get rid of him, she shots him...

My favourite podcast! Love your empathy, a lot of true crime podcasters lack that

I’m listening to this again, post Johnny Depp, Amber Heard case. Some of the similarities are uncanny! I’m glad their problems didn’t escalate this far. Great episode!

It makes me sad (and more than a little angry) that you get hurtful comments because honestly, what you both do...its amazing. I absolutely look forward to each and every episode! I love your banter, your very well researched stories, your passion, warmth and humour. No matter what life throws at me, I feel I always have your podcasts to make me smile and laugh and enjoy. I love you girls and always wish you continued success and happiness! Please never stop! :)

These two friends are so hilarious and yet on every podcast they take every factor the case for the listener to consider guilt or innocence and yet it’s like sitting with a good friend and just talking about a new story and sharing opinions and getting goofy Squirrley great I listen to everyone enjoyed it immensely! five stars

Many other people have learned to use the word correctly. I believe in you!

2 years ago reply 0

The word whenever indicates regularity. If something happens once, the word we use to show that in English is ”when.” It matters because it has meaning. When you use it incorrectly its confusing to listeners. I have to stop and ask myself every time, wait I wonder how many times did that thing she’s talking about actually occur?

Where was the rest of his family during all this???

Better to lose your father than have him keep you around as a punching bag. In my opinion anyway.

Good episode I just look forward to a new episode every week, I love the banter you two have. As far as Anime is concerned, it depends on what type you're watching. To ease into it I recommend a type called slice of life, which focuses on everyday life, the one I'm watching is about an aquarium called the aquatope on white sand. My favorite one is March comes in like a lion, about a boy that plays shogi, a version of chess. The interesting thing is the human relationships he develops.

Your show is good, but here's a grammar correction: use "when" not "whenever." Example: "Whenever I was young" is incorrect. "When I was young" is correct.

If he was a woman he would have been met with so much sympathy. He was an abused spouse. Period. There were several injustices in this case.

2 years ago reply 0

Did that make you feel better about yourself ???? People like you = 99% of today's problems! 100% the WORST humans in existence! Let's make sure i show my superior knowledge because i lack confidence, as well as being incredibly insecure so pointing out mistakes and flaws of others make me feel better about my awfulness! And the correct spelling is "it" not "ot"

I love this podcast 🙌. These ladies are so much fun to listen to. They are funny, sweet, and always so respectful of the cases they share. I listen to a ton of true crime this is the first upbeat crime podcast I've heard yet. One thing.... if you read this (Melissa or Mandy) can you explain a rattle snake rodeo?

I have a very boring job so I tended to listen to a lot of music. But then my daughter suggested listening to your show. Well I don't really listen to much music anymore because of your podcast I have to say you make my day go by much quicker. Thank you

So I looked up their photos and I really did see the appeal. I didn't think any of them were good looking. 🤷‍♀️

Love how you two compliment each others' personalities. Best wishes from Irish true crime fan. Kept me going during many a dreary lockdown day here on Emerald Isle.
