Side note angel had always been overly dramatic and poetic.

I think it more about him seeing himself in faith then spiting buffy he got it in his head that if she can be saved or redeem so can he. I also don’t think faith would listen to anyone else partly because he is also a killer partly because he is one of her victim so he knows better Then most what she done and if he can forgive her she might believe she might have a future. And lastly he is risking basically all his relationships to save her with is probably the only some line done this for her

It’s not even an American accent, it’s more Canadian, lol.

I love that when you described a plumber, I was looking in the mirror. Both literally and figuratively, lol. I’m a friendly guy named Bob who has a goatee (it’s a mustache x2!) and wears work clothes.

It’s Danse Macabre, but they do sound very similar. I myself have been tricked by my iPod before, lol.

If you listen closely, you can actually hear Willow screaming ”I’m deaf!” when she wakes up.

It’s hard to conceive of, but Doug Jones has been a part of our lives for over thirty years. He’s Billy from Hocus Pocus, Abe from Hellboy, the head of the Steampunks from The Guild, and the Creepy Guy from John Dies At The End. Not to mention that he mentored Jim Carrey for The Grinch.

I would say he isn’t gaslighting her because he believes what he is saying.

Buffy is the harried daughter who’s hosting for the first time, Giles is the Dad, Willow is the liberal cousin, Anya and Xander are the couple that’re friends with the host. Of course, Spike is the poor soul that people feel bad for because he has nowhere else to go.

I think the recurring argument is supposed to represent the bickering that happens at family gatherings. Everybody is set in their ways, but neither side wants to accept what the other is saying. So it just goes in a massive circle where nothing is accomplished.

Ah, Spike’s ED arc. It never fails to make me laugh. I’m glad that I initially missed this season until I was old enough to understand the subtext, it wouldn’t have been as funny when I was nine.

I learned about Bif Naked from SSX Tricky, oddly enough. She plays Zoe Payne.

I love that Cordy and Buffy have roughly the same experience in their respective season premieres. They’re both wildly out of place and have no idea what they’re doing. A

Alaina, if you’re still having sensory issues when it comes to noise and crowds, I recommend Loops earplugs. They filter noise without blocking out the people right next to you. They were a GODSEND at the last wedding I went to; so much so that I actually spent quite some time on and around the dance floor.

5x5 = 10 A perfect 10. She’s saying she’s perfect. She’s fine.

The Faith/Buffy dance scene is so iconic that they more or less rotoscoped it into X-Men: Evolution. Rogue was Faith and Kitty was Buffy.

The commentary for this episode is how I learned that hard consonants give off an aura of malice.

It’s been confirmed by both the actors and Joss himself that Xander is a self insert character, which explains why he is the way he is.

Given her situation, surely Debbie would be in a Lifetime movie?

He DOES have an Old Timey face, it’s just from a time when we still lived in caves.

Captain Cold is in this episode?!

Oh, THIS is the 📌 episode.

They claim that this is the one that convinced Joss that Angel could carry a series.

Ah, the episode that really showed how versatile David Boreanaz is as an actor.

I feel like this is the breathing room we needed after last week’s episode as well.

I also got a chuckle when I realized that this is where I first saw Krispy Kreme Donuts as a child when it originally aired.

I was terrified of Der Kinderstod for almost a decade; his eyes still make me kind of uneasy. I will admit that he did give me an interest in sleep paralysis and nightmares though. Also that German fairy tales are fricking scary.

They actually briefly suggested Angel doing what he did, but with his normal face. But they realized it would have made him look psychotic and unforgivable.

I like this episode because it sets up the running joke of Buffy loving cheese.

You can hate on Angelus all you want, but I’m convinced that he’s the reason that Seeley Booth exists.

I think this show also holds the record for usage of the word ”smoochies”, lol

I mean, we also know that Larry is over compensating.

You were wondering if Buffy had a previous Watcher... I kinda think the show picks up where the movie left off. Also she was a cheerleader there as well. 😊

Don’t they explain that she can speak English because she heard people speaking over her coffin?

I saw him as Nemesis, lol.

I like that Miss French has played a siren-type creature TWICE.

False memory. Mazzy Star or Fade into You never appeared in Buffy. Mazzy Star lead singer Hope’s other band has one of their songs featured in S6
