Very nicely done! I still have a 1968 front cover from The Sun, with the headline ’John Lennon loves Yoko Ono”. I found it lining a drawer in my grandma’s house.

And remember that George said he wanted Dylan to join The Beatles (ish) in 1969.

Just stick to commentary on The Beatles. Don’t make political comments, okay? Remember, this is a Beatles podcast. Refrain from commenting on things you don’t understand.

Fascinating chapter in The Beatles’ history! Have ordered the Ken McNab book, “And In The End.”

I thought this was a bit harsh on Paul’s analysis. Is it not true that Klein was trying to buy apple so that it would be part of ABKO. And also John was signing documents without reading them. And the Beatles hadn’t paid Thier taxes (again) but Allen blamed thier lack of an account who he had fired but not replaced for months, despite the urgency. And Klein was only cleared of the overclaiming because John said it wasn’t happening, that didn’t mean it wasn’t true. Paul found out later& sumerise

One of my favourites too. Not a great ‘song‘, but always brings a smile.

Great, interesting and ultimately very sad segue into Brian Jones. Wasn‘t expecting that - very well balanced overview.

Hello guys, love your podcast, etc! I am in Georgia in the US. So happy to hear you discuss the Xmas fan club flexidiscs. I have always found a deeper meaning in the "Podgy & Jasper" routine. I think it is a veiled analogy of J & P's partnership. You will notice the initials are the same, and they are each tasked with one thing, but there is one thing they *both* have to remember. I think there is a lot more in that little sketch than meets the ear. Hope you read this, l don't do social media.

I can't remember the episode where you guys talk about the When We Was Fab video, and whether or not Paul Simon is in it. Who gives a toss about that, when you can clearly see Elton John for a moment....and the best of all, is at about 2:04, when "John Lennon" walks by with a copy of Mind Games under his arm. You missed that, my Beatle-brained friends!

I still don't think Yoko was at the "Ballad" session, for the simple reason that if she was, she would have "found" her way onto the song. So l don't believe for a second that she was there, being quiet.

Brilliant interview with Mark Lewisohn, really enjoyed it, great questions too. Was an excellent point that along with all the lucky breaks they had with Brian and GM etc, they now have the very best Beatles biography. I was shocked to hear about how they're treating Mark though, very disappointed in Apple.
