And not well! They didn't label boxes and just piled stuff on top of each other- creating a massive mountain. Things got crushed, ruined, etc. Their "help" was the complete opposite, especially after getting out of a month- long hospitalization. πŸ™„

I'm empathize with Geo about the ideal ways of hiring movers (if you choose to). My family moved my stuff while I was in the hospital and they did the same damn thing as those movers! I have an OCD Personality and this led to a legit breakdown where it ultimately led to a hospitalization and damaged family relationships to this day. It was so overwhelming and still is! 🀯😀 I'm an organized person that values my belongings and everything has its place. Family just threw random crap together..

That discuss so many different topics if someone is considering making a move. I find the information valuable. Hopefully the culture and climate won't change too dramatically in a negative way with all the new people flocking here. I know so many that can barely afford their mortgage/ rent (if at all) since the influx and in general. The majority of Utah made the top "Safest Cities", lists often. I feel this will sadly change. Let's hope not. Hope you guys prosper in Vegas and enjoy it thereπŸ’œ

I'd love to hear about where/ what you visited in Utah and what your experience was- good and bad (or less desirable). The Northern and Southern half vary greatly, especially in the environment/ geography- Both are great for very different reasons. I love seeing my N. Utah mountains surrounding me, but the red rock structures and such are also incredible in S. Utah. Of course we have our "Cons" and though. City Data is a great informative site with lots of statistics as well as forums...

Beautiful place that was more open and spacious rather than building on top of each other to meet the demands of newcomers. Many are financially negatively experiencing the impact of this, and enjoyed how our state once was. πŸ˜” One major thing Utah lacks is diversity and with others moving here it could be a potential positive or negative- depending on the individual or group of ppl. Diversity is very much welcomed and desired unless of course it brings rising crime with it.

Bring their "habits" of trashing our beautiful environment and possible "tolerance" or unappreciating cleanliness that many of us Utahns value. That's one of many fears. I've already seen more graffiti where it hasn't been prior, an uptick of crimes/ chaos which could honestly come from many variables, and the overall concern that our state will change and maybe not in the most positive way, and not to mention how much it's raised the cost of living, created excessive building in such a....

Move to Vegas podcast: First of all, Congrats. It was a surprise for me to hear as I've been a sporadic listener, but watched you guys very consistently for a number of years on JK News. I appreciate your relationship and how you guys interact and navigate different things. In regard to the podcast- What part of Utah did you visit? I take a lot of pride in our generally CLEAN Utah in comparison to other places. I think ONE of Utahn's fears of "outsiders" moving here is that they will....
