I hope you get a chance to do a guided meditation at some point, Neil, because that could have been really good.

Loving it! I too can’t ’clear my mind’ but now I’m always going to be thinking serene/soreen 🙏

Shakespeare said something like the world is a stage and we are all but players. Was Shakespeare buddhist? To be or not to be?

What if, we are all one but there is no soul or purpose. What if we all exist for no reason? Maybe we just are.

Lee you absolute superstar! My little girl is 4 and has been having sleep anxiety since her childminder retired at Christmas, meaning she has to go to an after school care place that she dislikes intensely and the nightly screaming match was making me feel decidedly unzen. We tried the floating bed At the Beach (you are not alone) tonight and she went out like a light after 10minutes. I lay there and listened to the rest and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a lovely surprise. Thank you! Cat 😘💕

Fuxking hilarious boys! Im 47 and dipped in and out of Buddhism since I was 17. One of the most comforting or foreboding things about Buddhism I read near the beginning is that once you find the path and start on the journey you may meander of it but you always come back to it. I have found that to be true....and it is ultimately comforting and shit like that.

Thank you both for making me laugh listening to this podcast marrying two things that I love, spirituality and comedy. Love listening to you laughing at each other while sharing your journey, so refreshing and hilarious thank you! 🥰

Therefore, put aside the intellectual practice of investigating words and chasing phrases, and learn to take the backward step that turns the light and shines it inward. Body and mind of themselves will drop away, and your original face will manifest.’ Fukan-Zazengi, Dogen (1200-1253)
