The parliamentary committee hasn't formally completed & published any findings yet & as you rightly say Jacqui, should not have been leaked. Three questions for this committee to answer now: 1) who leaked it 2) was the particular 'unintentional misleading' of parliament even part of their inquiry remit If yes 3) why? Beyond commissioning Civil Servants to update Fairness at Work until signing it off in Dec 2017 the FM had nothing to do with it & was not involved in any way with the investigation
Having watched the relevant FMQs on 'misleading parliament' I'm convinced it was more about misunderstandings than 'unintentional misleading'. Original question was 'When did you first know of the complaints against Alex Salmond.' 1) there had been allegations involving Edinburgh Airport 2) 29 Mar an urgent request by Alex Salmond's former Chief of Staff for a meeting between Alex Salmond & Nicola Sturgeon regarding complaints 3) 2 Apr at the meeting she was made aware of the actual complaints
'Nicola Sturgeon’s woes' Interesting & yes, you were more balanced & accurate than most media outlets, in this podcast at least, I don't watch TV so couldn't comment on that. I wonder who turned this into a media circus about Nicola v Alex; Who benefits from that! Nicola Sturgeon has always championed women & girls issues throughout her term as Scotland's First Minister & has had her name dragged through the mud for what exactly?
...PS i almost forgot, and this is a classic... At one point, Iain abruptly breaks off to check on an issue re his latest book sales - without any apology leaving a surprised Jacqui to hold the fort. And London media/political types wonder why the country continues to be divided...
