I am brand new to you & Dave Ramsey. I am concerned about our income level & debt level being so hard to overcome. Could I get an email address to send you specifics about our situation. Hubby is an incredibly private person & would be extremely upset if I just put it out there.

Love the practical money advice, but i dont understand the negative on credit. It's nearly, if not completely, impossible to buy a house in a safe neighborhood, key word *SAFE*, with cash in a reasonable amount of time unless you got a helluva inheritence or income right out of debt-free college. Not even 4+ beds. There are 2 beds 1.5 beds in my closest rural area running 80k+. Its the land prices! So imagine just needing a modest 3 bed for those in non high paying service jobs. You'd need to save 20 years trying to avoid needing a mortgage which requires a credit score!

I believe just search Chris Hogan 360. If you search Dave Ramsey it'll pop up as a related group

I tried listening. He says a lot without really saying anything. Sounds like an infomercial, I just have no clue what he is β€œsellingβ€œ.

Or you can leave it and pull up to the standard deduction every year starting when you retire and pay $0 taxes on that money... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Talk about blowing money for no reason!

@16-min mark is really something to think about. In a country where familial financial support is expected (in an extreme), we have to change something!
