I am sitting in my car numb after listening to Allison's story. This is a real fear shared by many of us every time we get into an Uber or a Lyft. I don't know how to start a Grassroots campaign. But one more piece that needs to be discussed is making it mandatory to disable those child safety locks that keep you trapped in a vehicle. I realized that is simply addressing a symptom and not the cause. But anything we can do no matter how big or how small to mitigate these things from happening needs to be done.
