19:00, paradox. If we want to find, we must lose. If we want to own, we must let go. If we want to live, we must die.
39:00, we let go of, lose, or fail to possess, our self- centeredness, and gain other-centeredness.
38:30, we do not say our mantra (meditate) "to get something", we say the mantra "to lose something". Poor in spirit, lose our selfishness, constant mental ruminations, logismoi. "Blessed are those who possess nothing" (J.B. Phillips translation) "Blessed are those who do not possess or hold on to their constant mental videos. Blessed Are those who do not possess or hold on to their negative thoughts. Blessed are those who do not possess or cling to their desires and passions.
32:00, "get rid of all your possessions." Jesus. Perhaps we need to start by letting go of possessing our thoughts. Our thoughts are our possessions, perhaps Jesus wants us get rid of the possessions which are our constant thoughts (logismoi)
30:00, each time you let go, you are deepening your poverty of spirit.
We do not turn the Thoughts off by force, rather we "lay them aside", with the help of the mantra.
30:00, the mantra let's us "let go" or drop whatever comes to our mind. In this way we become "poor in spirit". I know I need to "let go". The mantra is training our mind to "let go".
I loved this and will listen to it many times, even though the sound quality is poor
in my bucket list. hope to hear it soon. thanks for uploading
