I wish I could understand why I agreed with Chuck’s earlier idea for Synanon- before the corruption and mayhem. The group did some real good but I guess it needed checks and balances. Unbelievable.

Wow. Power corrupts. Some parts really made me 😭😭😭, really horrific some of the abuse that went down, and then others had a positive experience and were thankful to have unshackled their lives from heroin, it’s so strange what different and varied experiences people had there. definitely fascinating listening! 🎧 🎧
