A lot of people was jealous of him being close to the queen, so it’s not a surprise they would say he was having with the queen and the princesses, and everything was even more exaggerated after, ”look at the decadence and debauchery of this horrible regime that exploits the people” and blah, blah blah

Some help, of course. But then all that b.s. about mysticism and stuff was trendy, so it’s no surprise some bored aristocrats wanted a new toy to play with. Really enjoying these podcast biographies. I like the style, the chatty way they’re presented, and the choice of what to include. You’ve learnt to talk a bit more slowly than the YouTube videos, which is also good. I can listen and enjoy better that way.
