John is the gospel to those who are well down the road of faith. It speaks of ”the good part” and it speaks to those who have the ability to become ”sons of God.” These are those in whom Christ is fully formed...by faith. It isn’t that they have earned this great blessing. Certainly none of us deserve it. It is, however, meant for us to experience a spiritual birth. The miracles recorded in John are examples of those who walk in a faith for continual forgiveness.

Today in 2023, we have so quickly fallen into ignorance, that someone raises a hand in church and believes he is ”born again.” Our journey begins with faith for forgiveness by the gracious death and resurrection of Jesus. This is a first beginning, certainly. But we must continue to grow in faith until our walk takes us through embracing God’s will/righteousness. And then holiness. ”He who is without sin” isn’t exactly how it sounds. (Cont”d)

Let he who is without sin... Israel was in the final days of her fall. Had the people humbled themselves in repentance, Israel might have been saved. We saw in Abraham the multiple portion of faith. Indeed the word ”hebrew” meant ”multiportioned” in the language of its first use. Knowledge of God had been lost over time when Jesus first came. Our country began with many dedicated to traveling the way of life and in obedience to the call, ”Seek my face.” Cont’d

Listen to Dr J Vernon McGee every single day. There's no other daily Bible teacher who is as thorough and witty teaching the Word of God. Long gone from this world for many years now, its astonishing to see how much of his observations still apply today. You can find his Thru the Bible Series on most Christian channels, where he goes over every word. It takes 5yrs, but totally worth the time. God Bless Dr McGee🛐
