I mean I guess? But hopefully that helps normalise these kind of characters in media. Eventually I hope the player base doesn't bat an eye at who a character is or where a plane is or the culture of a plane, but merely enjoys it.

#572 I understood your points, but I don't think you explained why there are bass cards, I think you explained why there are cards with different power levels. I reckon that when people talk about bad cards, they were talking about cards that are so obviously underpowered that don't see play, in any big format, not even for in casual games. As an example of the top of my head I'm gonna say tolarian scholar, why this card exists?

I could swear I've already heard this episode before or at least one that had the exact same beginning with the exact same stories. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure coming up with new subjects after 500+ episodes is hard. I was just wondering if maybe this got mixed up with an old episode. Still loooove your podcast and am looking forward to next week :)

I Love the image of seing Mark running around at Wizard just putting squirrels in everything and every single creative just looking in horror as Mark is stuffing squirrels in the card printer. Completely nut's with twitching eye's and some level of looney tunes in his moments.

A set with a lot of multicolored cards. The card frames are gold so they refer to them as gold cards.

The reason why is that the dragons on tarkir we're not born they are created fully grown from the dragon tempest storms. So no baby dragon and no eggs.

@harzah : Why not have common 'dragons' that were hatchlings, or young dragons or even eggs? So, you could have the theme but a less powerful creature for mana/power purposes?
