He doesn’t present as a cop...and he’s too arrogant to testify as himself-- the IA file shows that. He was a waste of county dollars. Ditto-- great job all seasons.

It’s a police officer and a combat veteran-- my thought is a vet trumps a cop in terms of compassion/ being conservative and DUTY GIVEN. This cop’s IA file shows all we need to know-- he is a mouthy and disrespectful. Shoulda bought a fast Lil red car for his midlife crisis. And the psychological evaluation PRIOR to the academy should have caught that-- although we hear on the tape from scene of crime--his first instinct is to lie so he may have lied convincingly on testing.

Unlike nicotine alcohol prescription and illegal drug addiction you can remove the substance-- With addictions you can’t. Those chemicals that are out of wack and get on a hyper feedback cycle are naturally occurring and produced inside our own bodies.

I just wanted to say that I've heard all 6 seasons of Breakdown and I've heard other podcasts mentioning the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). It appears as though they are not at all very good at investigating anything let alone murder cases. If our FBI investigated in Tyne same manner we would be in a world of doodoo, just sayin'. I also want to say that Breakdown is one of the best Podcasts, good job!

Why not mandate that cops purchase insurance just like MD's have to buy insurance. If they mess up their insurance goes upo n if the behavior continues they will not be insured n thus not be able to be a cop. Right now cops do what they want and if they are held liable we the citizens have to pay the bill.
