That neighbor is a pc of work! And, I personally can’t think of one time something horrible happened to me that I didn’t have a ”bad feeling” even woke one night in pain and full panic bc I dreamed my baby brother died,.... He did! At 414am, leaving a bar, no one was home, I had no way of knowing... but, I knew! God, these Cops are so sure, for what reason? They seem so sure, but if it were them.in that boys shoes, God hope them if cops had a feeling about them!!

How in the name of all that is holy can they change the manner of death?? When TWO other people labeled manner of death as homicide?? People who actually examined the body!! Absolutely inconceivable. Beyond ridiculous. Where does this Vega person get off?? And WHO authorized the change?? This case is so hinky. I guess all of these cases are and that’s why you’re researching them.
Sorry but something is up with the grandma and Skip. The whole thing is just beyond fishy. She wasn’t even crying when she called 911. And why’d she go get gas?? They did something to that poor boy.
For the so called expert to say that he thinks based on the events and how they happened he thinks that Jeff killed them is just completely irresponsible. I expected better from the podcast host.
I’m not impressed with the “expert” near the end of the episode. He doesn’t think that someone that is t a family member would kill the wife and two little girls. Clearly he isn’t familiar with the mob or criminals of any type and how they snuff out witnesses. Those girls were old enough to describe and pick someone out of a lineup. The crime family are the most likely suspects. They killed one man. What’s another one? And the rest were just witnesses that needed to be dealt with.
Sooooo much reasonable doubt. I’m just disgusted with the jury. I haven’t listened to the whole season yet but at this point I’m just disgusted with the shotty police work (“investigation”), the shotty coroner, the lawyer dropping the ball on the jeans info.. just everyone in general. Just disgusted.
AND this detective is just trying to close the case in my opinion. There’s no way this receipt would still be in one piece. The water would have destroyed it. Receipts now days are made sleuth some weird material where they don’t fall apart but back then they would disintegrate. I’m 50 years old. I was 18 in ‘91 and back then I’d left plenty receipts in my pockets. Never once did I ever pull one out still intact. There was just bits of paper all over the washer.
Do you even realize how hard t is to get blood out of clothes?? Almost impossible. Come on.
Apparently none of the interviewers including the podcast host have ever just had a bad feeling something had happened. I have gotten such feelings before and let me tell you something bad always had happened. Either to someone close to me or someone close to them. Not impressed with the way the “bad feeling” comment was shot down just because it never happened to them.
I have conversations like this with my 4 year old.
