Holy shit, that egg commercial with the recipe was way way too long. Plus, it came right as you introduce the guests! WTF? One other thing, the soul of this show seems to have dwindled tremendously since Sim Departed. It now sounds so written and oh, well, soulless! I do still listen once in awhile, but only for guess who I really really want to hear. Too bad.
I can't believe how similar, pretty much exact, your guest with a relationship problem sounds to my situation. The only significant difference is that I've endured it for almost 28 years. I married my husband and a very short time later, within months, the angry outbursts began. I attributed them to alcohol, but it turned out alcohol only made it a little worse. Basically, I've been walking on piles and piles of glass egg shells around my husband and have had 24/7 fear 4 my entire marriage.
Anna, the doctor is totally right about ordering toys. My husband tried that little trick. One day a box was delivered to the house and we always open whatever is delivered because we have small businesses and it's almost always just supplies, tools etcl. To my surprise there was a freakish dildo,, a cock ring, porn... Needless to say I was extremely upset. This was just before Christmas, not the gift I wanted! I'm still upset....8-10 years later. Never assume!!!!
I can completely relate to your guests wife's lack of sexual desire. Unfortunately, I've been like that for most of my life, if not all of my life. I just have virtually no libido. I pretty much only had sex for not very good reasons. To try and fit in, to make my husband happy and or not yell at me, because it was expected Etc. Even when the sex was good, I never really craved it. I also needed either alcohol or cannabis or both. I have no desire or need for sex. His wife may be the same.
If you two can't talk about drugs and be open about how you go through life with whatever you need to retain your sanity... Then who the hell can? Without cannabis, I would have been divorced 25 years ago. Thank God for edibles!
It's actually a little comforting to know that even Katherine Heigl gets irritated by her spouse.... It's the little things. My husband did the same thing when he grew out his beard. Thank goodness he shaved it off eventually. But he just replaced it with half a dozen other annoying traits. Why does he have to move my shower razor every time he takes a shower and leave it wherever he wants? š
