I love the connection you and your wife have together ..Jess is so funny!!! I also feel the change you went through recently..you are less aggressive and I do appreciate you not dropping the F bomb repeatedly. But I do like your strong assertiveness in sharing your story and speaking gut wrenching truth about sobriety..I was in my 20's when I got sober now 40 years later . I love that young people are still getting sober.

I share a list of podcast to the new graduates from a treatment program in Washington jail. This is one I've added to the list.

I chose Jesus because of AA...I am double digit sober and I know He is who I needed to work the program and live the program..I met him because I wanted what my sponsor had...it took courage to release this podcast..

My message I heard Him say, clearly I might add, was " Are you finished ? " 3 years ago, alone in my living room, tears, hammered, He spoke to me and asked me if I was finished. That was the last drink I took. Got help. So grateful! Thank you for sharing God's voice to you!

I have recommended Shane's Podcast to a lot of young people in Sobriety. I think he nails it with how to live sober have fun, meet other sober people, whats trending, Im in my 60's and laugh out loud at some of his antics. Loved how you got into everything, gym, bicycling, running, etc... And your wife just rolls her eyes. Super fun ( a little too much swearing for me, but I get it ) :-)

Shane is a really honest down to earth guy who says it how it is and doesn't mince words. His views on addiction and life in general are impressive and have helped me on many different topics.
