If Fr James Martin is a "best friend" of Busted Halo then obviously this is no longer a show I need to listen to. He continually pushes against Church teachings and is not a man to be admired or celebrated.

You cannot force someone to have a baby. I would also encourage this woman to research what it was like before roe vs Wade back in the early 70s. Women were having illegal abortions by unqualified individuals or doing it themselves. They ended up dying or contracting bad infections. She wants that to happen again? Because it will. I think she needs to get over her self righteousness and look into all the factors why women have abortions. I would not want to live in a country where people were forced to comply with the religious right's rules in terms of their bodies. We have free will. It's between them, God and whoever the father is. It's not her business. Or mine. Stay out of it.

Yes because we see in the Bible when Jesus referred people to the RCIA for baptism. 🙄
