The Bering land bridge hypothesis is not anything near a theory, it’s a bad guess that’s been almost totally been disproven. There’s also an ancient encampment of ancient humans in Southern California from ~130,000ya. The current assumption is that the first people to come from Asia followed the kelp forest that ranged along the Asian and Turtle Island coasts from Japan to Southern California. It explains why people from Alaska to Labrador to Cape Horne all have one style of boat, the canoe.
