Same place, same time.
Great episode for the best time of the year!
The legend Don Higgins!!
These podcasts never cease to amaze!!
I Had A Pretty Good Day and Get ‘Em On The Ground are my favorites!!
In regards to Don Higgins’ farm, it’s not the 120 acres that makes his farm so impressive and successful, it’s the way it lays out. His wooded acres are in the middle of huge wide open agricultural fields, so like an island so to speak. So, his deer have no reason to leave or if they do, they have no reason to stay gone.
Awesome episode! I met Jason years ago when I was going through Occupational Therapy school. His certified hand therapist, Karen Drake, who was an instructor of mine, introduced our class to Jason, which at the time he only had one robotic hand with different styles of interchangeable hands for the other side. Great guy! Great story!
Good call on being more cautious when talking about hunting areas. My dad always tells me "loose lips sink ships".
My favorite source of information regarding big woods, hill country, trail cam tips/tricks, and public land diy hunts. I would also check out Whitetail Cribs on their YouTube channel if you enjoy a good deer story.
One of the biggest deer I’ve ever seen with my own eyes was right off the freeway destroying a rub tree in late October right next to a giant cell tower. And it definitely Depends on the content but yea I do listen to the same episode a couple times. Like listening to a song to get jacked up for an event. Certain hunting content gets me jacked to get at it!
great show and great delivery of info
Sometimes I listen to certain ones several times
Don’s farm is 120 acres
