I felt that the guest took over the podcast.l. The first 45 minutes were mostly her talking.
Loved this episode! Very original guest with her love of letters.
Oops. Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson, not Woodsen.
Here's my rec for a novel with a big, juicy, beefy plot in which characters are making tough, moral decisions. A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.
Raelynn Bradley describes her favorite books so well! I'm really impressed that she is able to keep reading a priority, even while being a farmer and a mom of 5 children. My recs are Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodsen and Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse. (
I love this podcast. A hit for any reader. Check it out ππ±πβ€
I actually found the book "A Clearing in the Distance" in the nether regions of a very old used bookstore in downtown Milwaukee. I was shocked when I found it there. I did a little happy dance in the aisle. Thanks for the recommendation. Although my TBR list grew by many books in that podcast. I would have NEVER picked up this book otherwise and I'm excited to dive in!
I recommend Meet Me at the Museum by Anne Youngson.
