You can’t have a requirement to self isolate if free testing is ending. We have to stop this at some point. Deaths are lower than a normal year.

You say there are only two ways of getting people to take the vaccine, the carrot or the stick. I say both of those are unethical when medical decisions should be made with free and informed consent. It should be just that, a medical decision. The way to get people to to take the vaccines is through education. Address their concerns, don't try to bury the issues or stigmatise or ridicule people. You talk about Long Covid but you won't mention long term effects of the vaccine.

Love this podcast. So factual and calm. No silly small talk. Interesting topics. Nice! [I'm from Denmark, in case that's of interest.]

1. What on earth does global warming have to do with Covid? 2. Does the doc really think China is serious about reducing CO2 emissions to NET zero even, when they are firing up a new coal-fired power station every week? How naive can you be?

Dr Ravindra Gupta explained everything very concisely and eloquently. Enjoyed listening about some good news associated with HIV for once, in this case, the introduction of a last-effort cell-therapy.

Dogs that read facial expression. Seen on "That's Life!" with Esther Ransen . We were meant to see a dog thst could count, but it was clear to me that the dog was barking on rrsponse to the raised eyebrows of the owner. Ironically, on BBC2 at the same time, tge story of the counting horse was being debunked. The horse scaped its foot in response to an increased tension on the halter rope.
