There is something linking Chris Dawson, Justice Cowdery, other members of NSW hierarchy that has kept him out of trouble for 40 years. Old school tie, or membership in a secret society or something.

The issue I can see in the summing up by the judge is simple. Chris Dawson was not on trial for domestic violence assault. Chris Dawson was on trial for murder. The judge simplified the case and the evidence and in order to reduce any chance of a successful appeal, he focused solely on the murder.

JUSTICE! I feel that this sentence is wholely appropriate given all the circumstances of the case. Sad that Chris remained obstinate & right through to the end, refused to admit any culpability w.r.t. the murder of his wife & thus wouldn’t give up the location of her remains, denying proper closure to her loved ones.

If he is found guilty, is there a way to do some sort of plea deal which could allow him to reveal how he went about the murder, and what he did with her body? A way to tease this info out of him, otherwise he will maintain his innocence and keep appealing the decision, and Lynette’s family will never have the peace of mind knowing what actually happened to her?
