Started the Lépine episode as it hit close to home, but your insulting and dumb blanket statements remarks regarding French Canadians were an immediate turn-off which caused an immediate unsubscribe. Generalizations about an entire population, regardless of who they are are always damaging. That said, you may choose to use your platform whatever way you wish, including to proudly display ignorance and unjustified hatred like you just did. Au revoir. Signed: a francophone Montrealer

It’s fine. Every other episode is usually good. One of them seems like they don’t put a lot of effort in, sounds like it’s being read directly from a website. There’s potential for this to be better but it seems like the one that doesn’t understand how jokes work isn’t so good at this whole podcast thing... For example, the first 3 episodes of the Blackhawk down thing they did were great, the 4th was basically a review of the Amazon documentary that was mentioned. Do better.

These guys are great! Stories detailed, jokes and life connections are seamless and they are truly themselves and suck you in. I catch myself laughing out loud or answering them 🤣

The "Akamanto" yokai stories are still alive, although not many modern adults admit to believing in it. While I worked in Tokyo, even larger train stations would often have 3 toilet stalls. Never 4, because the word 4 (shi) is a homonym with death ( also shi). Sometimes they would, but in more rural areas, people are A LOT more superstitious, even if they pretend not to be when they're at work in the city. So you see a set of three toilets and a gap to the wall.
