Pigs of any type are trainable like dogs, they have authentic emotions and can be trained to live in your home as well as any dog. How can anyone subject them to a life less than a dog

I find this distasteful. The death of one creature because another (more than likely) couldn't control their indulgent lifestyle is anachronistic and incongruent with moralistic futurism. It is also anachronistic In terms of other scientific progress.

So glad you had a voice of reason within the crispr/bringing back extinct species episode. I find the hubris of some scientists astonishing, almost as astonishing as their rationalisations in lieu of the reality which is... Drum roll... They are seeking funding more than they are ecological solutions to the very clear and present danger our own species is creating.... partly because of behavior like the above! I feel like I'm on crazy pills sometimes 🤦🏻‍♂️

On 'How to Build an Island' it was shocking to me how the term 'Natural' was used repetitively for this project of artificial island creation with little apparent understanding of the associated biologic impact. Better to devote resources to addressing global warming rather than manipulating the ocean environment for the benefit of one country. This will undoubtedly have unintended consequences.
